We have had a brilliant Volunteer’s Week here at Moorland!
Firstly, our fantastic new Volunteer Co-ordinator started with us on Monday; she is going to be supporting our current volunteers as well as looking for new ones. So if you volunteer for us then please expect her to be in touch soon. Welcome Charlotte!
Also Charlotte and our Manager Rachel have been visiting our Moor Socials and the Memory Cafe to thank our volunteers there directly. It has been so humbling to hear everyone’s experiences of volunteering with Moorland and to hear what it means to them.
Thank you to all our incredible volunteers, we are so lucky to have you all; your dedication, care and time really is priceless. From drivers, to Trustees, from Moor Social volunteers to Befrienders, from Phone Group leaders to Practical Support Volunteers; thank you just is never enough!
